Is it a compliment if someone says you have a memorable face?

I would say that most of the time this is said as a compliment. I think the person saying it means that you have a classic type of face that they will always remember. The downside of that is should you commit a crime i.e. rob a bank. Your face can be easily drawn from witnesses descriptions by a police department artist should you escape the camera view. So don't rob or murder anyone. You'll get caught.

I have a hard time remembering anyone's face, so I take it as a compliment if someone says that.

It just means you are unique because of your actual face or your personality(some kids use your face as a term to refer to people as)

It can mean many things.

Do you have a nice face? Then it's a compliment, or they just mean what they said.

Do you have a okay face? Probably means exactly what they said - you have a memorable face (not good, not bad).

Do you have an ugly face? Either insult or means what they said.
