Is is normal to still have feelings for my ex?

Me and my girlfriend broke up a few days ago. I still have really strong feelings for her. She knows I still like her, but she doesn't realize how much I do. She said she just wanted to be friends from now on...but I want to be more. Is this normal?

Make sure that she knows that it would be really, really hard to find somebody who will marry her that will feel for her as strongly as you do. Finding an honest, steadfast mate is not that easy. Somebody who will not slut around on you. Just look, most marriages end in diverse. But you care, and that’s not a game. Tell her that if we can try this again, you will wipe the slate clean. No bad feeling, about how you 'hurt' me. Emphasize the ‘hurt’ part. Because you obviously care for her.

Of course it's normal. Please do NOT try to find someone else right now. That's going to be a disaster that I've watched others play out over and over again. Finding "someone new" right after a breakup leads to trying to replace the "perfect person" you had in your ex. You'll end up hurting the new girl and feeling worse about yourself. I would say take a break from the dating scene and take a break from a friendship with your ex. Tell your ex you need some time and I'm sure she'll understand. Wait a few weeks and then come back and try the friendship out. If you still feel the same way about her, maybe friendship (as hard as it sounds) isn't the best idea. You'll end up getting more hurt in the long run.

She found someone else... If she wants u back she will let you know. For now I would find someone that wants to be more than friends to try to get your mind off her.

This same thing is happening to me. Pour your heart out to her, give her a few days, and she might like you again. It worked for me, so gl!

It's normal, but give it more than a few days. Then if you feel the same way try talking to her. If she still wants to be only your friend move on...you'll be happier.
