I met him on the internet and we only comunicate through technology. We have never met in person but we have video chatted. We have tried to plan a meeting, but we live so far away. Also our schedules have not matched up. Do you think its normal?

    What the fuck? So some guy miles and miles away is your "internet" boyfriend? But you never ever meet? Or have any physical contact? But remain faithful to them in the real world? What the fuck. I think OP is under 18 and sexless. Because no man/woman in their right mind would have a partner that they're faithful to without any form of physical contact. That's just like you're friends.

    It's becoming more and more normal, yes, and the stigma is disappearing. I've seen figures that something like 25%-35% of newly married couples originally became aware of each other in an online setting.

    I'm probably quite old-fashioned in this because I don't even consider this to be dating - I need to have a physical contact with the person to call it dating. However, if someone doesn't mind they can't touch the person or feel their body, I don't see anything bad about having this type of relationship.

    It's pretty normal nowadays. I personally wouldn't do it but if you like it then I don't see what's the harm. Just make sure to be careful. The internet, as we all probably already know, can be a very wicked place.
