You are wrong. Everybody tries to be abnormal even though the show how normal they are by trying to be abnormal. It's more rare to find someone that wants to be seen as normal.

Nobody is normal. There is no normal. The only concept we get of normal is media, and nothing on TV is normal. Normal is a relative term.

I want to be normal in the sense that I don't want to have something terrible that affects the minority, for example, get cancer. I don't want to be normal in the sense that I hate most aspects of the society that we live in.
