Is in normal to find the perfect guy but still want to change him?

I found the perfect guy with the best personality. But, I am still not sexually attracted to him like I am to other guys. So is it normal or wrong for me to want to "change" his look, or weight to make him my perfect guy?

  • Well your saying you want to change him for your own needs. I hope this guy has some form of pride to say no to you.

And I agree with ItDuz. It sounds more about your need to change someone, than anything particular about him.

If he's perfect then you shouldn't have to change a thing...

I completely change my first comment! Now that i have been spending more time with this guy and seeing how truly great he is and what a wonderful personality he has the other issues I might have thought were a problem i the beginning are completely gone!! He is perfect the way he is and i see the attractiveness in him now, i think i was more scared my friends or family would not find him attractive, but now i like him waaay to much to even care!!

He's probably too good for you, certainly if he actually is "perfect". I couldn't imagine a guy saying "I've found the perfect girl but she's too fat and her hair is stupid".

What I say is if hes the perfect guy but your not sexually attracted to him then he's probably not your perfect guy.

It is, unfortunately, very normal for a female to want to change the man in her life, however, it is not good. If you're not happy with him the way he is, don't move forward with him then. He's not a computer that you get to program. You can get "Boyfriend version 8" and reload him.

    How is he perfect then?

If he treats you well and can provide for you that far outweighs his looks. As you become older you'll realize that.

you obviously dont consider him perfect if you want to change something, thats contradicting yourself.

    besides no one is perfect.
but dont try and change anything about anyone, it will back fire on you and youll look like a huge bitch.

im sure he is fine just the way he is. what do you think your gonna get the perfect looks with the perfect personality? nah aint gonna happen :) he probably thinks the same about you

  • You wrote "weight" instead of using the word wait, in the same sentence you're implying he's not your "perfect" guy.

Anytime you try to "change" someone, that someone is going to resent you because, like you, they think that they way they are is just fine.

Hopefully, he's not thinking the same thing about you on some level. How would you like it if: he secretly felt you were somehow less than "perfect", so he started to manipulate you into becoming his idea of a perfect you?

Do you see how it's "wrong" now?

Exactly ? I don't get how he's considered perfect. If you still have to change him.

You found "a" perfect guy, not "your" perfect guy. Its not really fair to change someone, forget what everyone else has said about him and find someone you're actually happy about

well if you want to change him, he is not perfect. but if he is a fatty then i dont disagree with you wanting to "change" him, only because it is so unhealthy to be overweight and not because you dont find that attractive.
i am sure one day you will find "Mr Right".

  • You found the perfect guy that isn't the perfect guy. And you want to change him to be a more perfect guy, but you may end up with a less perfect guy.

Which would be less than perfect.

Which is probably ok since you don't appear to have a clue.
