Is he cheating on me?

My boyfriend and i have been going out for almost 2 months but we have had a thing together for four months, He used to say all these sweet things to me, like im his everything and his girl and he wants me forever. He never says things like that anymore the sweetest thing he says to me is " I love you" And if i say something sweet to him he just says same here he used to say so much more. Before we started going out he told me he wasnt over his ex girlfriend and she wasnt over him so he was going to get back with her but then she didnt want to so he stayed with me and then he told me later on he was completely over her about a month after that we started dating and i believed him cause he was over her but lately she has been texting him, and he was supposed to go to a concert with her but then they broke up and now that concert is this thursday and hes like yea im giving my tickets to a friend because i probably cant go to the concert anyways and she really loves simple plan so im just giving her the tickets, and he never said who "she" was so im thinking it might be his ex which really pisses me off!! Also he has been getting frustrated with me really easy lately when i dont do anything wrong and when i try to talk to him about things he makes me feel guilty like im at fault and i end up apologizing to him. Also he NEVER lets me see his phone, if i pick it up to hand to him he grabs it like he wont let me see it, one time he went to the bathroom and i looked on his phone and there was a conversation from a different girl and he was flirting with her and he put a heart. I dont think hes the type to cheat on me, but i can tell something is up i dont trust him but i am soooo in love with him and i dont want to lose him, we used to say we were going to be together forever and i knew we were, we were so perfect but he has been like this for 3 and a half weeks now and i am soo worried i just need some advice. Please am i normal for being worried or do i have nothing to worry about?

I dont understand what you mean by the 'they broke up' comment. Have you guys had sex? Did he tell you he loved you before you started dating? Does he tell you he loves you just so you will have sex with him? What is the age difference between you guys? These questions will also help me get a better handle on the situation. I think he is being sneaky, my boyfriend will let me see his phone anytime i want to, especially if i am feeling insecure, and we have been dating over a year. There is a possibility that he is cheating on you. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Long story short, I think your entire story is quite normal. Exceedingly normal, even, if depressing and unfortunate.

Done with the short story, onto the long one, if you're in the mood:

Try your best to look at your situation from the outside. If your friend sent this story to you, would you honestly tell her that there isn't a problem?

If it helps any, just imagine how many people the average married woman has dated before finding "the one." Is it hard to believe that she repeatedly fell deeply in love (in much the same way as you have) with many men before finally settling on one? Do you think she went into all of those serious relationships thinking anything -but-, "I truly love this man."

There's a reason you always hear the "we're going to be together forever" line in movies and books and things. At some point you just have to accept the fact that not nearly every serious relationship ends in a happy marriage, despite the sincerest of intentions. Not even the majority of every serious relationship. Shit happens, and you often just have to deal with it.

It might be very hard, but leave him.

leave him. He is hiding something from you and he is probably talking to his x anyways.

he wants to get back with her so badly that he has to hide it from you. NOT COOL.He needs to be honest with you and just break up if he is playing childish games with you.

that is ricidulous. a grown man grabbing his phone away from his gf. If there is nothing to hide he would let you see his phone regardless of how short or long you have been together.
My bf and I have been together for 3 weeks now, and he lets me see and use his phone anytime. I also let him see my phone and other things as well. If he isn't oepn to you about everything than he isn't worth your time and energy.

    You need your reality checked!!
Just for a moment...Think with your mind, not with your heart.

Love is blind and sometimes we can't see things as they really are.

His behavior isn't normal, you know this, otherwise you wouldnt be seeking for advis.

These are definitely bad signs... He is cheating, I'm sorry. Especially if you SAW him flirting with other girls... I mean obviously if he's pointing the affection he used to give to you at other girls now he's no longer worth your time and doesn't care about you. Dump the bastard! Trust me, you'll find someone better.

Eh, it's only been 2 months. I'd just leave him. Trust issues is a bad sign that you may never get over. Why prolong this?

Oh yeah I forgot he said that. Alright OP, nevermind. I'm sure you're meant to be even though he wanted to get back with his ex when you first started dating. No big deal.

Lol oh how well you know me. I've been dating my bf for 2 years. We don't have any of these issues though. If we did, I wouldn't be an idiot and stay with him.

I'm afraid that I agree that he's cheating. It's as if someone has hurt him so he's not going to allow it again - by not being exclusive and not getting in too deep with you.

Don't be too available, make him work for you a bit!

sounds like some dumb shit i have done to my gf when i was drunk,i began when i felt she was un faithful i always tell her what i did and i can only ask the same of her. Just make him jealous or leave him, they do it once they will again.
