Is gold membership worth getting?

If I had a credit card, I would definitely buy it. But I use this site a lot so it would be worth it. The little perks, especially the private messaging and looking at unmoderated posts can be good for time-wasting if there's nothing juicy on the homepage. I've been gifted it before, twice, and it was really good to have. If I'm still here when I'm 18, which I expect I will, I'll have Gold.

Gold membership doesn't assure that your post will get approved. What it will do is have it approved much earlier (if it does get approved). Also, you will be allowed to post pictured and look at post that haven't been approved yet and rate them whether they should be approved or not. I got it as a gift from someone else before. I wouldn't spend money on it, myself, but it is a nice thing to have.

I was gifted it for a month and then bought it myself for a year (runs out in April, I think). I really like being able to see the unmoderated posts. There are things you know won't get through moderation but I'm glad of the opportunity to have seen them. I'd hate the idea of people not being able to keep in touch if I didn't have the private messaging too. Definitely worth it for me.

As for the colours, I'm kind of locked in to being purple. Although I did once say I'd spend a day as each other colour before coming back to purple. Actually, I should do that now.

I just got it and most of the unmoderated posts are stupid. Theres a good reason why they dont get accepted. I just looked and a couple current ones are "is it normal to be gay?" and a yes/no poll on "will a girl have sex with me?"
The good thing about iin gold is you can also vote on if you think the post should be approved or not.

Well, put it this way- if I had extra cash lying around and I thought I be here more frequently, I would find it worth buying. It's quite nice to have if you like the perks, either way.

my only problem with getting gold-membership is that i only have cash/money i don't own a credit-card i could give my mom the money for it then get it because she i think has one.

If you use this website a lot, yes. Like bananaface said, sometimes the posts on the home page suck or stagnate so looking at the unmoderated posts and being able to privately speak to other members is a bonus. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who spends less than an hour a day here, though.

In my view, it's not worth getting; although it is nice when someone buys it for you.

IIN Gold essentially affords you more freedom on the site; more colors to choose from, you can see unmoderated posts and even judge if they're worthy of being on the site etc.

It really depends on how much time you spend here and if you think the perks are worth it or not. Personally, I do.
