If a person is/isn't financially stable, is that a factor that will influence your decision to date someone?

i wouldnt date someone who isnt working. someone not working just shows laziness and i dont want to be with someone who is lazy and just sits on their ass all day every day just watching tv or wackin off on the computer. i dont think there is any excuse for someone who actually wants to work though, even if its a few hours a week at a fast food restaurant, at least its work. i dont like people who are just full of excuses.
What if someone is unemployed but they're in the process of finding work and are working hard at it? Like if they're frequently going to job interviews and such?
well that is different. but if they arent getting the easiest of jobs but still getting interviews then they would need to work on their interview skills to get a job. seriously though, it doesnt take much to get a job at a fast food place. maybe they are aiming too high for the jobs they are applying for. they need to start at the bottom and work their way up. that is how it works.
but i might date an unemployed person for a couple of months and if they havent found a job by then, then i would say g'bye.
It's irrelevant what the other person's doing. I have to be financially stable. If I don't have a job, I don't even look at the opposite sex
Me too. If he can't find a job his home would need to be immaculate and in great repair. If he still couldn't find a job I'd expect him to go self-employed mowing lawns or dog walking or window cleaning... anything! Keep moving to earn respect if not dosh!
