Is constant arguing really normal?

I know that conflict is a natural thing, but aren't there healthier, more normal ways to deal with it than others? My mom often swears, jumps to conclusions, and shouts, and she does so frequently, often over small things that simply don't warrant such a response. It drives me crazy! I don't act that way. If something bothers me, I prefer to bring it up in a calm way that doesn't make me seem like a histrionic lunatic.

Try sucking a cock. That usually puts an end to conflict.

My moms the same way .. But things change when things happen. As you mature and take control of your life, your mom will stop acting like that and she'll be a bit easy going about things. You have to teach her :P

Conflict IS healthy. Conflict of a repeated topic is not.
We all have different tolerance levels, so theres no right or wrong answer. You know your limit, and that's healthy for you. Others may need to confront others more often.
We're rather incompatible at times, us humans.
