I was in an exclusive relationship with a girl a few years ago. I never told her but sometimes I had cam sex with strangers. I considered it cheating and I'm pretty sure she would have too and broken up with me in response. This girl would cover my eyes and get mad if there was nudity in a movie we were watching together.

I feel like a horrible person because of what I've done. I don't think there is any excuse. I have barely told anyone but the people I have told have said to me that they didn't think I cheated and I shouldn't feel bad. I've always been surprised at this response.

    Cam is not cheating, but you should ask yourself why you did this. The fact that you did it shows there is a problem with your partner.

        Sorry, I should have said there is a problem in your partnership. Of course I cannot tell if the problem comes from you or from her (who can tell?) but I keep thinking there is a problem. It may be because of communication, misunderstanding, each other expectation management, ...

          We broke up years ago. I'd say we had all those problems towards the end of it.

          The first couple years of the relationship were rediculously good though. I miss what we had a lot and I know we'll never have that again. Sometimes I worry I'll never feel that good again but I guess that's just life

    You didn't physically go to the strangers' houses and fuck them, or perform any sexual act on them, so it's not cheating. It's still bad though because you went behind your partner's back to satisfy yourself.

    Why can't your partner satisfy you? What do these strangers have that your partner doesn't?

    It's mentally cheating, not physically cheating, the same as lusting after another is cheating according to the Bible. Frankly, I think you're fine, keep it private and move on, don't beat yourself up over it
