Context: I'm a young adult, female, and have always been either ambivalent towards or repulsed by the idea of having sex w/someone. I'm just not physically attracted to others. This in itself doesn't really bother me.

When I do feel arousal (or at least what I think is arousal?) it's in the form of unprompted, intense sensitivity that is flat-out unpleasant to experience. Masturbating does next to nothing for me in general, and in this case it doesn't alleviate or even really affect any of the discomfort.
Is this what being aroused normally feels like?

    Yeah it's unpleasent if you have no outlet for it.
    Masturbating generally doesn't do anything for you if you're bad at it.
