Is being a woman in public scary?

This is something that I've been thinking about lately. Being a woman has to be incredibly frightening, knowing that you most likely won't be able to defend against an assault by a random dude/gang in public. If I suddenly became a woman, I would NEVER dare to walk outside at night alone, risking being a victim of rape, or a necrophilic serial killer.

    Yes it is. Almost all women get taught dont go outside by yourself late or even just after dark.

    I didn’t vote because I’m a man, and wouldn’t really know, but I had this talk with my daughter about being careful about where she goes and when. Too many guys think it’s easy to overpower a women and take advantage of her. I also had the corresponding talk with my son about respecting a woman’s boundaries.
