Ur subconscious keeps buried bad dreams that are usually to do with a bad past and this means u can't remember dreams. It's ur minds way of dealing with these things and preventing it from lingering too much. Usually dreams are about something that has happened that day or something u may see as a possibility of happening, to let you go over all details in those memories and come up with ways of dealing with ever eventuality for the future. It's a defence mechanism but this is more common in small children than grown-ups. Usually caused by indebtedness in day to day life

I think its the less advanced souls who cant remember their dreams.

It all depends on what you're seeing that's happening later.
