Irrational fear of embarrassment!

When in class, during a lecture or otherwise when the teacher uses projectors and such, I have this extreme fear that a video clip of me dancing around the room with my dog might show up or something.

I have NEVER ben video recorded doing anything remotely embarrassing or defaming, (and I have an extremely active imagination) but I still grit my teeth and clench my hands tensely when watching the screen, just waiting for something horrible to come up and embarrass me. It's only when in a large, quiet room full of people!

I'm not teased in school, get great grades consider myself of average looks, and have lots of friends, but I am just extremely frightened of a defaming or crazy video clip showing up in the lecture hall. I've never done ANYTHING to worry about, but....

Is it normal? Thank you!

    i used to have the fear of farting really loud when the classrooms quiet.

    Ammm yeah..... it is normal but if that dream keep annoying or teasing you as you said, what you should do is remember something funny that happen to you....or try to just keep your self busy by writing anything.........just find a way to keep you busy in that moment..
