Iphone camera makes me look fat, iin?

I feel like this is a silly thing to be upset about but, bare with me, please.

I have a history of eating disorders. I've been trying hard not to fall back into those disorders.

I've been wanting to take some photos of myself on my phone so, that I can upload them on another site. The problem is that no matter what I try, I look chubby on screen.

I know for a fact that I'm not chubby, I'm very thin, and I certainly don't want anyone to think that I'm FAT!

I fear that if I keep OBSESSING about this, that I'm going to fall back into my old ways again. IIN?!

    It's not the camera, it is your brain. Or you haven't mastered the art of taking self portraits. You recognize that you are not chubby, so why do your photos lie?

      That may be so but, could the problem lie in the front facing camera? There's a musician that I like and I've noticed that whenever he takes a picture using the front facing camera on his phone, he looks extremely bloated/pudgy. When he doesn't use the front camera, he looks slim and healthy. He also has an iPhone.

        I dont have an iphone but in mine the front facing camera is of lower quality. It shouldn't pose a problem. Especially since you can see what you are doing.

        It is always user error. And I think you are being a bit judgmental of that musician.

          I'm not! I looked this up, and there are many people online who are complaining about the exact thing happening to them with the front facing camera!

          Okay, maybe I am being a tad judgmental. But, I don't mean to be judgemental or even mean! That's partly why I didn't use his name! I don't want to hurt his feelings in case he were to read this.

    Iphone camera actually makes me look decent lol.. Sounds like you've already fallin back into it. Stop blaming the camera :)

      I'm not narcissistic. I hate the way I look. I rarely take self-photos. I'm not used to them.

      "Mental" You clearly have no idea what having an eating disorder is like.
