Is it normal to have a strong urge to get with a black girl or an Asian girl but being too ashamed to take the time to actually be around a different race long enough to finish the deal with one?
Hey people...it doesn't mean he's racist. Some are just raised in families or areas where stuff like that isn't readily accepted. I say just be yourself and like who you want to like. No one is better than anyone else and cannot look down on you for your actions
I am asian and I like darker skin dudes :) and my family is racist towards darker skin, coz of different cultures. I don't think its shameful ? :) Your free to do what you wish to do man !
Eh, you can't make everyone happy, just yourself. If you like women of other cultures, go for it, because if not, you may be passing up your potential soul mate and love of your life because of what ignorant people think about it. If anyone else has anything to say, f*ck em (not literally). Its your happiness, not theirs.

Anyway, I'm in a relationship with a white boy. Myself being asian (Thai) and in his family.... interracial dating isn't exactly forbidden, but it's not really encouraged either. (His mother wants white babies, for example)
If you wanna date someone of a diff race, go for it. You can't help who you like, and if anyone else says other wise, tell em to fuck off. ;o)
My thing is if u wanna have an interracial baby but u can't b around that race long enuff, how in the freaking hell r u going to b a good parent and teach ur offspring about both his/her races and instill in him/her a sense of pride and qualities of both races? Okay, yes, it's completely normal to want to mate with someone whose genetic material is vastly different from yours. That's how improvement through evolution works. You're biologically driven to be with people who have different genetic makeups.
What's not normal is to allow some societal hangup stop you from doing what you want. Guess what, dude... You're a different race from them, too. Maybe they feel the same way.
What you need is a medium, a way to get in front of these chicks without looking obnoxious. You know for a fact that there are organizations in your area that are dedicated to supporting minorities. Those organizations host events (lectures, book clubs, protests, etc.). Contact the organizations, get a calendar of events, and go to a few of them. You look like a sensitive multiculturalist, the chicks who are into that will be into you, and voila!

Well in my town, I come from the only Mexican family there. I'm kinda forced to be interracial relationships :P not that I mind or anything.

I would love to be in interracial relationship someday but i like white men more than any races. I have never been with any white man and kinda curious about it. Thing is i have a long term relationship with my asian bf and never going to cheat on him. So after i break up with my bf then i might go for white man.
