I find real life is a much better place to judge whether or not you truly like someone. And at any rate everyone on the internet who types "LOL (smiley)" I immediately feel an irrational hatred towards, so for me real life is easier I'd say!
I refuse to use "lol" but I use smileys...do you half hate me?
:(
(With you on the "lol" bit though...I don't hate them but I do shudder....)
Personally I find the sarcastic, non serious use of specifically the smiley :( to be quite amusing, but the overuse of smileys in every sentence is what I cannot stand....
And I already know you aren't an annoying internet person so whatever you do is fine by me!
I find it a little easier in real life, but I'm not entirely comfortable on the internet yet. I think you are normal though; people are people, even on the internet.
It's probably easier online than in real life because you won't blush, stutter, or get embarrassed. Well, maybe you would, but they wouldn't be able to see you.
It's easier to think about what you want to say when someone isn't staring you in the face. Try to get over this awkwardness because internet friends don't do you any good in life.
Its easier online 4 me but i do love my friends tht i see almost every day
Yes because people do not get the chance to judge online. They also don't know your past or your reputation. And people are just a lot more confident sat behind a computer screen than face to face.
Still, I do not have any internet friends. Doubt I ever will. You can't beat real life friends. You can't beat the memories of all the laughs you have had together, the weird things you have seen together, the times they put their arm around you when you are down etc.
I think this is because you don't get to spend real time with them and online it's always easier to be nice because you don't have to deal with them all the time, if they're having a bad time they might just not reply, but if you're actually with them, face to face, and they're having a bad time they might reply to you rudely so things are gonna go worse?
I dont know. I only have one online friend but I do love her a lot. But on the other side, i think my real life friends who i've known for ages are the real friends, because I can't get to know the other friend so much. they might be hiding stuff, not actually lying to you, but... idk. just not mentioning stuff...?
I find that for me, this is increasingly true as I get older, have less time and energy and grow more and more apathetic.
I don't know that it's a good thing, though. But I do appreciate the real life and internet friendships I have.
pffft all you have to do is shake that nanny ass, and the guys go to there knees
