Inn to have a clit like thing at the bottom part of your vagina?

Apart from my clit sticking out under it's hood at the top part of my vagina opening, I have some weird shapes inside the opening of my vagina - there are several of them sitting on the side walls of my vagina but the biggest and longest looks like a finger and is situated at the lowest part of my vagina. It seems to vary in size/length over the monthly cycle but is always visible (as I shave down there)and when this "finger" thingy is at its longest it can stick out about 3 cm. It doesnt feel sore to the touch and isnt sensitive like my clit.
My doctor says its a natural formation and that all women have very different shapes down there - anyone know what I talk about?
