Im five foot tall hes 6 foot, so hes alot bigger than i am, which is probably the reasoning behind it. But when we make out it always seems kind of awkward to me because his lips completly cover and surround mine, like our lips dont really touch, my mouth is just kinda inside his... Is that normal? What can i do about it?
Tell him to slow his roll...that's just disgusting and reminds me of mugging out with a damn catfish. When he goes to kiss you...grab his face... Say "like this" and show him how to kiss properly.

My husband used to do this too until I spoke to him and told him in a nice way that I don't like it and he said he thought it was how he should do it. I showed him how I like it and now making out with him feels like heaven. If you and your boyfriend are close enough and open with each other then I'm sure he won't mind you correcting him on this....its better to let him know that to dread kissing him every time....be honest, if he loves you he will understand!

Ick no that's not a normal kiss. It's like he's eating your face. My boyfriend does that. I straight up told him he's a terrible kisser. so I have barely made out w him the last 3 years. I'll give him a peck but that's about it.
i dated a guy once that was a foot and a half talled then me. i had to stand on a chair to kiss him. i felt like i was getting kissed by a very big very drooly dog when he kissed me.

I know exactly what you are talking about, except I am a male. I was making out with an ex (not an ex at the time) and she just had naturally LARGE lips and they pretty much enveloped mine. I don't even have thin birdlike lips either, pretty average for a guy. Unfortunately I didn't ever get around to saying anything and suffered in silence until we broke up. I don't think its normal, I would think being on the other side, with the big lips or having their lips inside your mouth would feel %@&$ing weird. You should definitely mention this to him or take randomjelly's advice.

That just sounds gross. Maybe get a girlfriend to kiss you so he can see how it's supposed to work.
