Inn men always get screwed in a divorce

So I was married to a d lister a million years ago. Everyone including one of our kids thinks she was a nice person. But she was so mean to me.I did cheat on her a lot and try to get sole custody of our kids. But she made me a laughingstock and people still think of me as a character she made up. It is so unfair that her ex best friend who I am married to currently and I have to pay for this over and over. My ex is dead and I still get heat about it. This is so unfair.

You say "I did cheat on her a lot and try to get sole custody of our kids" yet you call HER a d lister? Really? You do realize that you are lying to us and yourself, don't you?
You should suffer for all eternity for hurting another person like that.
Unfair? Cheating is fair in your mind, but paying for it isn't?
No sympathy from this IINer, asshole.

Oh yeah, that'd be why all statistics prove it's women whose material circumstances drop after a divorce and that usually includes the kids as well.

It sounds as if you made YOURSELF a laughing stock and on what grounds did you try & get sole custody? It wouldn't have been because that'd get you a better property settlement, would it? Or to get back at her? Did the kids WANT to be with you or her?

What a terrible woman she must've been to be mean to you after you cheated on her a lot .....

the statistics were probably written by women who treated their husbands like crap when they where married. Never wanted to have sexNever wanted to go out and do couple things. but like the little presents their husbands bought them. Then took their husbands for everything and still want to whine.

Sounds about right, you also have to remember that particular account poses itself as a "feminist".

You can't be feminist without some level of misandry.

No, the stats I'm referring to were compiled by (male dominated) government departments from public data, including tax and welfare records, and have been regularly updated for decades.

In Australia (and probably other countries too) the highest growing group of homeless are older women who either received no property settlement on divorce or separation, have earned less than men all their working lives, which were almost invariably interrupted by pregnancy and child rearing, and have either much less than male counterparts (or no) superannuation.
