I have little crushes on much older guys. Even some famous people like Eminem and David Bowie. I can't explain it. I just always get crushes on almost any guy I think would respect me if I knew them. They don't have to be attractive. Maybe it's infatuation, I'm not sure.
It"s Normal and you just informed yourself as to why you are attracted to older men. "Quote" I get crushes on almost any guy who I think will respect me. Your experiences with younger men, or men your age have not given you the respect you deserve, therefore you demand respect and appreciation for who you are and receive it from older men. Older men respect you and make you feel that you matter. and you do.
I was going to support you wholeheartedly, but then you slipped in Eminem and you completely lost me. And to put him in the same sentence as Bowie? THAT'S BLASPHEMY! argggg (choking sounds).
I agree... Eminem might have reached his peak of being famous when I was a 6th grader, but he's not what I think of, when I think of "old."
It is blasphemous, and that's saying a lot coming from an atheist. Bowie is rock God and well, Eminem...not!

Also, take note that asthetic attraction, spiritual attraction, romantic attraction, platonic attraction, and sexual attraction, are all completely different things! It can be pretty confusing which one it is when feeling attraction sometimes.
Happen to be obsessed with Steve Buscemi? I adore him! I was bewildered by this as well, as he's old, buggy eyed, pale skinned, scrawny, and leggy, but other than that maybe that's the kind of guy I like, it probably has something to do with that he plays characters with personalities that I'm attracted to. Maybe that's it. I'm not sure if this term applies to Buscemi (it probably does) but does the term "woobie" ring a bell? I first heard it used to describe Tom Hiddleston's Loki, who I also adore.
