I'm a teenage female. I can acknowledge when somebody is good-looking but it takes me time to get to know someone and gradually be attracted to them. When I start to know their personality then I see them in a new way. I have had it before where I would have not looked at somebody twice ... I happened to become friends with them and realised they were a fantastic person and at some point I was falling for them. Only then. I bet it sounds cliche and like I am attempting to be righteous to say "beauty's on the inside" but I genuinely feel that way.
It's one of the many reasons that short-term relationships or 'flings' don't interest me and never have. But everyone around me don't seem to be this way.

    You cant tell they are good looking unless you are attracted to that look in some way.

        You don't have to, I don't go after every girl I'm attracted to you silly banana. One must be attracted to find it attractive. You think someone is good looking then you are attracted to that look by default.

    i can be attracted to a girl without knowing her, but to sustain any attraction I'd need to learn more of them. Mental attraction > physical attraction

    I'm like that too. It's more sensible that liking somebody just because you think they are good looking even though they may have nothing in common.

    We are twinning. For cereal. I can relate to every single thing you said. I haven't figured out a way to say it myself but your post really made it all make sense lol.
    Physical attraction, Is a complete different thing,And of course we all can acknowledge if someone has been gifted with good looks. But Ive always been drawn to a person someone else would find "ugly" or just not good looking(Not like I havent fallen for someone who is an amazing person and also good looking)For their character. And if I like your character you become completely sexy to. Lulz.
