Inn for not-trans girls to have big adam's apples?

I always thought growing up that Adam's apples are only a thing dudes have. In high school, I noticed that 1/5 of the girls have huuuge Adam's apples, like half of the fist, some even with that pointy tip thingy. I was puzzled bc I saw one or two and thought that maybe they are trans, but that's a significant part of my school, so it can't be. There are all kinds of girls like that - fat, thin, muscular... It's def not a thin neck, visible voicebox thing.

I have a female friend. She also has a huge ass apple. One day at my house she got her period (like blood went down her leg). And I was like wtf? I legit thought she was trans, but she has to have a vagina to get periods.

Also there are some dudes in my school that don't have anything visible (even with a thin neck) so I'm very confused right now.

    Women have them too, it's just that they are usually less prominent.

    I never understood adams apples either and have noticed the same thing.

    Btw if you ever wanna spot a trans, or suspect someone might be, just look at their hands. Its a dead give away.
