I laugh or do a little giggle when I'm upset or nervous or uncomfortable. Sometimes it's when something bad happens and people get mad at me... I don't know why it happens, it's not within my control, and I don't know how to explain it to them.

It's completely normal, and it even has a name. It's referred to as a "nervous laugh".
Completely normal love, I have a penchant for grinning when i'm being questioned about something illegal,wrong or otherwise bad that has happened.I dont understand why i do that but needless to say its usualy hard to prove my innocence in the matter especialy coupling with my sunny disposition.Cher' noogie.
Normal. One time in high school I told my dad what grade I got on my math test and real calm like at first he goes, "Well that was pretty stupid...PRETTY GOD DAMN FUCKING STUPID!" Then he just went off on me. I tried to hold it in but I couldn't. I started cracking up. Bad grades on math tests sure put him in a bad mood for some reason.
So many times it's happened to me in the most serious circumcisions. To a point, people usually understand even though you might feel really disrespectful and inappropriate.
