In love with my step- sister

So I am a little embarrased about this... I have a very beautiful step sister and since she was 15 (she is 18 now, and I am 23.) I have been in love with her and it's sort of an infatuation. I have often fantasized about her while making love to my wife and other girls. And everytime I tell her I love her I mean it more than if I was saying to a sister. My question is is this normal? When I was back home I asked her that if me an her were not related by marriage and she had met me elsewhere if she would have dated me she actually said yes, much to my surprise... me and her have always had a very close relationship and have always talked about things, I think that is where the love comes from. Please tell me I am normal, I always look at it that if her mom wasn't married to my dad it would be normal. The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt my dad though so I could never act or wish them to get divorced. Ty for your time and look forward to hearing from you.

    i think its normal to be attracted to any beautiful girl, the fact that shes your step sister doesnt make a difference. shes not blood related, BUT... since you married i wouldnt persue it. if you were single, different story........

    I'd say go for it if your divorced now and you both have feelings for each other it must be fate(if you believe in it) that you met. There isn't any blood and you both love each other that way than you should persue it. Otherwise not because that could definitely mess with the family dynamic although I can't help but wonder if you and your wife had kids what they are gonna think and ask later in life

    you said step sister. She's not your HALF sister. She's not RELATED to you genetically. There is no law and no morality whatsoever against you marrying her. It's entirely a paper issue!
    You screwed up guy. You should have looked into this before you married someone else. SHE was the one!

    I think it's normal and if I were in your place I'd probably try dating her if I had true feelings for her and actually felt like I was in love. Maybe it'd work out.

    Update: I am now separated and moving back home where my family is... Maybe something will happen, she is really is excited to see me coming home.

    I have a very good one.Me and my step sister slept together as teens our parents found out and made her move to another state with her mom.We both got married had a son.got divorce d,she moved back and we are engaged now.The point is you cant help who you love,and true love is very hard to find.So go with your heart,if anybody judges you that just means they havent found love

    I had a step-sister that I slept with. My mother and her father were on the verge of divorce when it first happened and eventually they got divorced. Her and I actually became a couple for a while after that. Things were really complicated though. There was a lot of tension and problems because of the circumstances with our parents and everything. We ended up breaking up. It was really sad because we loved each other, but things were just too messed up. I loved her and I still do and a part of me probably always will. I swear, she is the smartest, funniest, coolest and most beautiful girl I've ever been with. We didn't talk for a long time after we broke up, but now we are friends on Facebook. She is with somebody else now. I want to tell her how much she really means to me, but I don't want to complicate her situation because after everything we went through I just want her to be happy. But I really miss her. I guess my point is, before you do something like that think about where it might lead. You could end up with a badly broken heart.

    i thought it was perfectly normal till you mentione the thing about yor wife. i think adding marriage an kids into the situation made things a lot more complicated. But hey if you're both young and you dont want to be with your wife then maybe you should just talk to the girl. Ask her if shes ever felt the same way.

    It is perfectly normal. You are not related to her. Step sisters have sex with and marry step brothers all the time and more often than not, the rest of the family is happy with the situation.

    You are married. Isn't that the main point?

    So why are you crushing on your step-sister. with whom you otherwise have a great relationship? You frame this as being awkward as she's your step-sister.

    But isn't it in fact more about your marriage? And could it be about what is missing there?

          I was often told she cheated on me, come to find out after we separated, she had. She changed so much from when we first met, that she was like a different person.

    you should "accidentally" sleep with her. Then go on from there like divorce your wife since your so unhappy, but only if your step sister liked sleeping with you.
