In love with my gay best friend.

So, as you could probably tell from the title I (a girl) am in love with my best friend who happens to be gay. I do not try to, nor will I try to convert him to be heterosexual, just because i really don't think any homosexual person that is actually homosexual would change sexualities. I guess the thing about the whole situation is he's funny, smart, mature, we have so much fun together, i never have to get jealous because he doesn't even like girls. We play around and make sexual gestures back and forth and are always talking, and we have gotten the question of "Are you guys a couple?" from several people. He always responds and it's usually along the lines of "Yea, but I'm gay so it's complicated." this response never fails to make me giggle like an idiot. I do accept and respect the fact that we are friends, and will never be anything more than that, and I'm fine with that because he's still a really amazing friend that any guy (or girl, whatever he wants, as long as it makes him happy.) would be lucky to have, whether it's as a couple or as a friend. Oh but did i mention that we told my mom we were getting married. She looked so confused xD because she knows he's gay.
