So its been six months and im still in love with my best friend. She and I are very close and when she speaks abouts guys that are interested in her i get uncontrollably jealous and I have never been the jealous type, but then again I never felt like this about anyone before either. She knows how I feel but we dont touch that subject very often cuz she thinks of me like her brother and it really gets to me all tha time. Shes all I think about all day everyday!!!! I just dont wanna feel this way anymore i want to think of her as just a friend but I cant just change my feelings like that!!!! Any advice is much appreciated!!!!

    I found this website that gives 16 steps to get over a best friend. The site is http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Over-the-Crush-on-Your-Best-Friend. It really made me feel better and thought about my whole situation more. I hope it will help you out too.

      Thanx...it did help 2 an extent but i am already trying pretty much everything that was on that list. I just cant stop thinking about her at work and well scratch that...anytime really lol......my hurt dosent bother me i just dont want my feelings to bother her...Thank you for your help :)

    Me and my bf were fistup like very close friends and now he is my boyfriend. But if you are getting steady (or however you write it) in a love relationship think of the fact you are getting partners. A part of best friends is fading away. You can think about it of it is worth it. That is something i hate sometimes but i don ' t regret our love!!!

    It's normal to have strong feelings for people that are close to us such as a bestfriend but if they don't have the same feelings find someone else that will. U never know, it may make them jealous and realize that they like u after all

    Yes! My best friend I dated for two months and when we broke up never spoke again don't do it! Friend with benifits might work idk
