i have started to date my cousin , we have had feelings for each other since we were school kids , i am now 52 yrs old .
The love is so strong i cant stop thinking of her. we have both been wed before , but now we are single again.
our mums ore ok with it so we are not going to worry about it , just going to enjoy the time we spend in company with each other.

This past year we talked about our feelings and knew and said we were in love... We began a relationship , but it ended a few months ago because his 72 yr. old mother (my aunt) found out and it wasn't a good reaction... We are both 50 and love each other , and life goes by fast happiness is what matters most to me... But he's afraid of what others will say based on his mothers reaction... I love him with all my heart and miss him so much... I'm happy that you had a good outcome :)

It's normal to fall in love with someone, you can't choose who that is. Society has attached stigma to inter-family relationships because generally its not good for the gene pool to make babies with someone you're closely related to, but you hear stories of cousins who unknowingly fell in love before realising their family ties etc so its not like its unheard of, and many royals (UK) used to be set up with cousins in the past. I think if the persons love is worth it to you over the opinions of people you don't know, ultimately its your choice and perfectly fine. but just be aware it won't be to everyones tastes, but its your life! you can spend it with whoever you wish, you're not hurting anyone, and its mutual and consented so do what makes you both happy!
