In love with best friend!

Recently, I have fallen in love with my best friend, and now I find myself caring for him, what could be, a little too much. I worry about him 24/7 and offer to help him out in anyway possible, and secretly, I hope that my caring will make him want me back. Is this normal??

  • I had the same thing happen to me a couple years ago. I totally fell head over heals for my very best friend. Unfortunately, things got to complicated. But I know exactly how you feel. (yes i'm a girl .

i agree with bunnykins, u gotta know first if he views you that way.
but the idea of being lovers with your best friend is very appealing. you know eah other so well and feel comfortable with each other.
just find out if the feeling is mutual first, if not remain good friends.
    Good Luck!!
oh, and theregisteredone, u're an asshole!!

Ummm i had this issue the only thing you have to worry about is if he views you like a sister.. .i had a best friend and he and i knew each other for ages and i think we were both very much attracted to one another (his mother would even tell me how he never shut up about me and wanted to know why we werent together). However i wanted to go the step further...but for him... even though there was the attraction in his mind it was a bit taboo he was very scared of what might happen if we became a couple. He told me there were times he thought about being with me, wanting to kiss me, and things of that nature but immediately after he was freaked out by it because he thought it was like being attracted to a family member and not just a girl. Play it safe... worse that could is he tells you he can't do it... only you can decide if that's going to affect your relationship ...and if you two do get together....if things dont work... what might happen.... is also something you need to factor in

Be grateful that you're feeling this way. My only advice is to go for it. If you're a guy, this could be tricky, but you're a girl so chances are better. There are ways to persuade a man :-)

Your Normal. If your a girl then I see this going further. If your a guy, I honestly cant tell you. Best of luck for you.

This is normal when you have a crush with a friend and you hope with your helpfulness towards them will make them want to feel the same way and act like that towards you. It's quite normal and you needn't worry, this will all solve itself when he responds to your carringness. Fingers Crossed
