Imagine a titanic-like situation. The ship is sinking and there aren't enough lifeboats for everyone. Should we sacrifice ourselves and let the women go first?

For those women yes but for the women of today idk. If they want equal rights then the whole chivalry goes out the window. You cant have your cake and eat it too. If you wanna be equal to a man you have to be equal in all ways.

Jokes aside though when they first started lowering boats they lied to everyone and said that the californian boat was coming to get them soon and it was safer to stay on the titanic. Men at first were allowed on the lifeboats because no one would get on them because they were told and thought it was more risky to be lowered down and risk the lifeboat flipping.
My ass would have been one of the first ones on those lifeboats I think. I would never fall for some shit like that where theyre lowering life boats but saying the titanics not gonna sink. Im way too paranoid to listen to that shit.
There’s a conflict of interest here. The women want most of the men to live for income, help around the house, and homework/sports with the kids.
The men want most of the other men to die so they get all the chicks for themselves.
Women and children should go first on boats yeah, or any single man who has children. Children are generally innocent and have their whole lives ahead of them.
No, definitely not. Equality means exactly that. Our lives have equal value.
People often say they would give their life for someone else. But if you're in a life-and-death situation, you're going to push past everyone and everything to try to survive. This little Instinct called self-preservation kicks in and overrides everything else in your mind and says, I want to live!
While it’s not a completely black and white issue, I do think there should be some prioritization given to youth and femininity when it comes to life and death situations.
I think everyone should prefer to sacrifice themselves so that others may live, regardless of gender. Especially if it were for your children and husband or wife.
