In a nudist colony, are....

...tattooed people 'less nude'?

It sounds silly, but I was just thinking about this and if you had a few tattoos, I thought you'd seem somewhat 'clothed' even if those tattoos were not near or didn't cover any 'private parts'.

What do you think?

I guess you could try to imagine it by looking at nude pics of a tattooed person vs a non-tattooed person, sine most people here probably don't live in a nudist colony.

Less nude. 27
No difference. 103

Test it out! Cover your body in tattoos, then walk into Disneyland butt naked. See if you get arrested. Report back with the results.

    nudity - definition
    Having no clothing; naked.

    The definition speaks for itself.
    Tattoos are not clothing

Although, heavily tattooed people do look clothed in my opinion, but they are still nude anyway.

It depends where you put the tattoos. I know a girl who tattood stars on her breasts. Such a shame...

I get what you're saying here, but you'd still be naked.

I guess it would seem that way from far away, but if you're close enough to see their just tattoos then it's pretty much the same... But what do I know.

They are still showing their bare skin. The color of the skin has been changed, but it is still naked I think.

You know I have to be honest I'm not bothered by Jack's (Mass Effect) lack of shirt because of all the tattoos. In fact it took me a second to realize she wasn't wearing a shirt.

    Technically, they're still naked.

When I played the game for the first time I was like "What? She's wearing a leather strap across her nipples.. how did it ever get an "ok"?"

Some concept art shows her topless. Well the game is rated M and it was still lest erotic than Samara's low cut catsuit (or Thane's low cut catsuit)Overall I do really like Jack's design. I didn't like her design in ME3 as much.

It's, easily, one of the best games ever.. I generally liked all the characters in the ME1 and ME2. haven't played the 3rd one yet, unfortunately.

hahaha... awesome! never thought about about, but it's funny :)

Honestly, no. We're not less naked. I tried walking into a shopping mall without a shirt last summer and they did have a problem with it.

Heh, I live in NY and ladies are allowed to go topless!! Most dont, in fact 99.9% don't, but you CAN because men can so they evened it out.

However in the mall, that's private property so..different story.

Anywhere where men can go topless, women can too in this state.

it's the same thing in TO. You're allowed to jog topless, both males and females. it's rare, so i never happened to see, but my friends told me it happens :)

I don't think so. But when they are tattooed they do look clothed.

Strange coincidence but I was watching the football and at the end when they changed shirts, one of the players was very heavily tattooed and I had the exact same thought as you. He looked like he was wearing a skin-tight T-shirt.

I don't know the answer either so I guess we'll both sit here and see what people say!
