In a crowded place, this guy was pushing people to walk past except me

This is not a random guy. Weeks ago, he used to stare at me, glance, smile, be close to me but not too much. As I didn't answer his interest because I believed he was making fun of me, he progressively stopped smiling, staring and only glances at me from afar, ignoring me when he walks past.I don't understand why he glances from far but ignores me most of the time.Today, I was waiting at the door of my class with friends and there were quite a lot of people in the corridor. Then, the guy arrived, walking past us. As there were a lot of people, he was close to us and only brushes up against me a little, whereas he almost pushes my friend.What does all that mean?
