i have had vivid dreams of dying in a nuclear wars and in nuclear blasts since i was about 12.
for years now i s**t myslef when a loud noise occurs in the sky or when a jet passes over.
i litterally get down on the floor sometimes or go outside to check what it is !
does any1 else experience this or am i just a bit of a pu**y lol???
First of all what's with the *** ? This is IIN not the fucking Chriatian Science fucking Moniter. As to your post: Good one. I can totally relate. I'm a military veteran being treated for PTSD. Middle East shit. So sometimes the sudden roar of overhead jet engines will freak me the fuck out. I start thinking: Incoming! The thing of it is that when I saw combat in Iraq years ago those planes were always ours not theirs. But an active war zone can be a real mindfucker. But good stuff dude. Bet I'm not the only vet who can relate to your post.
Crazy....I remember being a kid and ALWAYS being afraid of the sounds of airplanes. I thought it was the end of the world. I had a bad dream about the world ending too but I think it was because I watched terminator....
Deep, I've had the same paranoia since the 80s. People think it's because of 9/11 but nope, it's been around much longer than that!
OMG I'v been gettin lots of vivid dreams of nuclear attacks too!! And if, for example, a truck is driving up my street, i'll shit myself because of the deep rumbling sound before i realise it's just a truck. I always fear that when i hear noises like these, that it's some kind of apocolyptic event, until i eventually realise that it was a truck driving by, or a helicopter flying past.. Never happens with planes though, as i never really encounter low flying jets.
Your not a pussy, your obviously extremly paranoid. Its not normal ,and it may be caused by recent traimatic events that may be related to combat.
