So recently my mom FORCED me to get a weave because my hair started breaking out. I FUCKING hated it with a burning burning passion. I hate weave so much i had to get corn rows. I hated sitting in that chair. It was hell for 6 hours. and my mom and stylist wouldnt lower there fucking loud ass voices. and i had to listen to Good Times. thanks to them i hate the show more than i already do. Sitting in that chair made my anxiety level shoot up extremly high and i started fidgeting bad. Not to mention it was disgusting having to wear a LIE in my head for a MONTH without washing my hair. FUCKING GROSS! and Corn Rows hurt the first 3 days. I dont get why most black even GET weaves! WTF someone explain that. They get itchy after awhile i PROMISE you that. oh and the horrid thing is my moms trying SO hard to make me get them back thats wrong. i'll get corn rows when SHE sits her ass in that chair for 6 hours! She never had a damn weave!

    What ever happened to the Afro, short or long? Simple, easy, clean and attractive. When style supersedes ease, attractiveness, utility and comfort, then it is totally useless, except to those without personality.

    It's normal to hate being forced to wear an attachment on your head. I wouldn't want one either, natural is perfectly in these days. Tell your mom it's your hair and you decide how to wear it.
