im 19 and i met a girl 5 years ago on the internet. We talk almost everyday, and just recently (few months back), i realized that i was in love with her.i told her how i feel and she feels the same way about me, but i have never actually met her, just talked on the phone and seen pictures,etc.
am i normal?

Exactly! I've been in two long-term relationships where I met them over the internet. My most recent moved down to be with me and we were together for almost 5 years! Do it! Go for it! I like the internet because you get to know someone's mind first and communication is key! Do it!
Yeah we all have internet lovers time from time and there no problem with that but wen it get to a good point ou two should meet and see how the relationship evolves.
I have a friend that has a similar issue. Unfortunately, he put so much into his long-distance relationship that he's having trouble, now that it's falling apart. I fear that his whole realm will suffer on her account. Can't say anything to him like that, though, on account of we haven't know each other that long. So I'm telling you: Don't do something you'll regret.
That's happened to me, too. It's completely normal, no worries! If this keeps up, you two should meet someday. It could be quite the relationship =)
I've been through the same thing. I think it's normal but in my situation I realized that I was in love with the IDEA of loving him. I think there's a huge difference in loving someone via interwebs and in person. Try it out in person, see how it goes.
you are very normal actually, the other week i made a fake facebook and talked to some of the guys that go to my school, and even though i knew the guys they finally gave me the time of day when there was a different picture there, so this one guy i talked to we really hit it off, and he was like in love with me, so internet things can be misleading, or when they last 5 years it could be true love.
mm I'm also 19 and fell in love with my net friend after 2 years of talking almost everyday. He had the exact same feelings and we got together.. Mom knew about it. But, unfortunately my father never supported this idea and I figured this out after our relationship grew stronger and was so hard for us to part.. I just stopped talking to him for 2 whole years and felt like my world has fallen apart completely. Just this year I found him on facebook and sent him a message cause I've always been wondering about him.. and now we're talking again like before.. cause we were so good friends.. Though, we can't get through this again.
I hope you are pretty sure that ur parents are ok with it before you strike up anything serious with her.. cause it's so hard when ur dreams jus fade away

i think its normal. but how do you know it is actually her they could be fake pictures that might not even be what she looks like... she could be lying about her age or anything you never know... but if that is really her and you feel you love eachother then theres nothing wrong with that xxxxxx
It is unlikely you are truly in love with her because you have never met her face to face, you cant love someone if you have never physically felt or seen them.
I believe its better that both should meet first in-person before the relationship becomes official. As a normal feeling, both of you would have some high expectations that won't be realistic after the meeting.
