Okay so here's my story: I have this really good friend Tony, who I have known for a while. I am a straight girl, and the other day, he told me he was gay. Everyone knows he is gay now, and he has had several ex bfs. Anyways, he is always telling me how beautiful I am, and that I am more beautiful than any other girl. Then, one day we were going on a road trip and I yawned and started to close my eyes. Tony got really excited and said you can fall asleep on my shoulder. I did, and he put his head on mine and had his arm around me. It was so sweet and felt great. I can't tell if he is bi or not though. We talk for hours on end, and I can't stand to be away from him. Should I ask him out? Is this normal? Does he like me? What should I do???

    sure its normal.. but if I were you I would bring it up casually instead of directly 'ask him out' , cause if he doesn't feel the same, he might freak a little so be careful.

    I had a crush on my best friend in the WORLD and hes gay but thats fine with me cause then it wont be weird if we break up we are like brother and sister so I convinced myself that I didnt have a crush on him I just felt really close and that I want us to be together as friends and friends only cause hes my best buddy :)

    ask him if he is bi. if he still says he is gay(he is going to say that) keep flirting with him like that, in about a week ask him out ;)

    Im so glad i found this website! Im in exately the same situation. I recently moved abroad to do some teaching and i have met this really amazing guy (whos gay), we spend a lot of time together during the week and at the weekend..At the swimming pool yesterday he told me i looked beautiful. Im moving back home in 3 weeks so i dont have much time to ponder about weather he might like me or not..so should i just tell him how i feel?

    well i think that he is just look at you like your a bestfriend but he probbaly isnt looking at you in the way that you are..so maybe you should send him a text asking him does he like any women and then wheel him in from there

      I'm in the exact situation as you. i have no idea what to tell you. sounds like you have a way better shot than me though. go for it tell him how you feel i told my friend who didn't come out to me until after i told him how i felt about him, we've been best friends since. He always tells me he'll never leave me and kisses my cheek and my lips and we always cuddle on my bed, while i'll play with his hair. I'll never get over the fact that he might not ever love me. It sucks. but what can I do? I just pray for him every single day.

    First of all, not all gay guys are great and not every straight guy is an asshole, I would have my fiance write but she doesn't like this site AND I RESPECT THAT, as I am a good guy.

    If he truly is gay and truly is your best friend, try getting him to sleep with you at least once. I'm more saying this as he is probably curious in at least some way as he choose the way outside of the norm for they way people decide. I am sure he is curious as hell so just ask him.

    Tell him how you feel and if he truly is gay, have him look at you naked for an "opinion" on something. Worst case schenario, you will be told that that mole on your ass is rediculous but he may be straighter than he previously thought and you might have a great relationship.

    If that doesn't work and if you are sexually open and I'm sorta not, he may invite you into a girl, boy, boy threesome if his lover is bisexual.
