So basically i am a girl and i have a best friend of the opposite sex. He is gay. I know he is gay and so does everybody else and we both have boyfriends. When i am sad he is the one who can hold me and assure me that everything is okay. Whenever i see him he is sure to tell me i look beautiful too. He is the perfect best friend, the only problem is i am in love with him even more than i am with my boyfriend of eleven months. Am i weird?!

    Nope, gay guys are the best. I was in love with a gay guy once who was my best friend, but HES GAY so you gotta get over it. You feel so strong about him because he treats you how every guy should treat a girl. He understands you, which most guys wont. Face it, that is why it sucks that all good guys are gay.

    No not at all! He's a decent guy. You are so very fortunate to have him in your life and in your corner! He has also set the benchmark high for any other guy to be as decent, and of course, heterosexual. What a good male friend.

    Well, duh, of course not!Your best friend, the guy you can go to with anything, is the guy
    who loves you more than any other ever could. He'd do anything to be with you, and will always love you. When he sees you cry he wishes he could change the stars to make you happy. He would go to the end of the world for you and loves you deeply. Just not the way you love him.

    I don't think your weird. You can't really control your feelings for someone. I mean, you love him because he's always been there for you. It sounds like he's been there more than your boyfriend has... (not saying your boyfriends being wrong or is not a good boyfriend or anything) but i'm just saying that there's obviously a reason why you love this gay friend more than your boyfriend. So no you're not weird...

    It sounds more like you love him because he's always there for you, and not so much in a crush way. My best friend of almost 14 years is a gay guy, and I'm a girl. Our friendship is similar to yours
