ok heres the thing i been afraid of toilets since i was young and its not the fact if it was clean or not but that does matter im afraid of how the toilet looks and rather its an electric toilet or not i been having dreams about toilets trying to get me and i been having this fear of how the toilets are shaped and it just freaks me out i cant go anywhere and be in the bathroom alone i cant be next to an electric toilet i know its not alive but i still cant face that fair i use one toilet and if i use anyones toilet it has to look somewhat like mine or i cant look evil or weird shaped mouth on the inside i really need help my biggest fair is being in a room full of toilets flushing and moving around with the lights off..... do anyone know where i can get help??

    Maybe you had a bad experience when you were young and learning to use the toilet and just don't consciously remember it. Billions of people use toilets every day and you don't read hear anything on the news about anyone getting hurt or dying from it, do you? You might want to talk to a doctor about this obsession.

    Don't worry. I have the same fear as well ESPECIALLY automatic and electric toilets. They freak me out and I ever wonder if im going to get sucked in! Usually, the only toilets I use are the ones at my house, my family or friends house, or the one at my school (college bathrooms are really clean) but trust me ur not alone! Or sometimes if I have to go really bad, I go. But what I would recommend is to go to a therapist or think when your going I'm not the only one.

    You'll get over it eventually. I grew up being afraid of vacumms till I was about 11 or so, frequently having nightmares about one "coming to get me".

    i just use my own toilet at my house i got a special toilet that i picked out from walmart that dont scare me as much as the toilet i had when i first moved into my house i didnt sleep in my bedroom because the toilet looked so crazy to me and i felt creeped out

    See a regular psychologist about this, because it definitely sounds like a phobia to me. You'll get past it if you talk it out with a therapist. When I was little, I was Deathly afraid of automatic toilets. I'm 19 now and they still kind of freak me out!! Haha.
    But take this advice. Talk to a therapist. It's just a phobia. Good luck! :)
