ok heres the problem , i come across as being emo . i actualy love it , i dress the part , i think act and live the part .
one problem though im black , haitien actualy and i really dont knwo anyone else thats full on emo let alone black emo .
Am i normal or .... idk ?

well the way mine is , i have it chemicaly straightened. it a mohawk on the back with the front falling into an emobang //.< thought i have to restraighten it evry 6 or 8 weeks or so.
but most people ive seen have long dreadlocks falling over there faces. but seriously emo isnt only about hair.
I don't even know the difference between Goth and Emo anymore.

The problem here is that you can't be emo if you are black. Your black brothers simply won't allow it. But you are well aware of this, aren't you? Haitian, huh? Do you speak with that weird fucking black guy with a French accent thing? If so, then the brothers may allow you to be emo. Just smoke weed with them and act like you're down with the Fugees. You might pull it off.

First off your not emo. No one who calls them self emo is emo. An emo was a title given to punk bands in the 80's who often got emotional on stage. The punk bands that were labeled emo bands hated the title. So unless you use to be in a punk band in the 80's and were labeled an emo band than you are not emo.

Just be yourself, if your interests happen to relate closely to the subculture called "Emo" then go ahead and call yourself one, just because you don't know anyone else the same does not mean you are abnormal. Also, skin colour does not affect your interests. :D
You are completely normal. There's nothing wrong with having an interest for a certain subculture, even when you are black.
You say you don't know anyone who is fully emo... Well, maybe you should search on the Internet for sites for people with the same interests. Maybe you should also look for other black emos. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
Take a deep breath and think about the good things...What color you are doesn't matter to how you dress or what music you listen to. It's a free world to express yourself. Trust me! I'm a actor!
Nothing wrong with not being normal in the alternative here. Strange can be good. Tomboys, punks, northern gentlemen, they're all a rare breed and everyone agrees they're pretty awesome, even if they're by no means "normal." I think you need to define what not-normal is. I mean, you aren't turning this into some sort of sob fest about how excluded you feel, so I'm going to guess you're not that emo. I mean you can be a fan of it but you don't sound like "I'm gonna go cry if you call me not emo."
Probably emo'z wont make a grand opening stating their emo but be who u are , even if ur black it doesnt matter if thats really you ;)
self mutilation is bad! seriously! get help! if you don't cut your self tho...it doesn't matter. be who you want to be and don't let people stop you. just because your black why would it not be normal to be emo? it doesn't matter.
