Iit, pubical folliculitis

I have dark red, zit-like bumps on my pubical area. It's been like that but now that I started shaving that area, it got way worse and won't go away. I researched and guessed it was Folliculitis and my doctor also said this and said to keep it moisturized but it's still like this, annoying, and I don't know what to do. It's been like this for a while. Can anyone help?

    Shea butter.

When it flares up get a mint oil, three drops in water with a warm rag.

I have the SAME problem! I get them all over my thighs after shaving. I hate my body... I'm so white so every blemish shows up. My girlfriend still is obsessed with eating me out so i guess she's a keeper...

Stop shaving and use hair removal creams instead, it really works

Shave with the way the hair grows not "against the grain". If the hair grows and lays down toward your feet move the razor toward your feet not pull it up toward your belly. Use antibacterial soap and shave before your skin gets to hot from the water. Hope this helps

I'm sorry that I don't really know anything about this, if you have tried what the doctor suggested and it hasn't helped maybe you should go back and talk about it some more, or maybe you could try speaking to a chemist, they sometimes have some good advice.

I hope it is better soon and I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
