They both mean the same thing, near enough.
But the word 'vegan' has so many negative associations to other people and it sounds so aggressive.
Is it normal, that 'herbivore' sounds more peaceful, positive and happier?
Vegan never used to sound so bad... It still makes me think of a thin, rakish, but compassionate person. I guess now it just makes people think of aggressively self-righteous douchebags.
Herbivore sounds more like a peaceful dinosaur, munching away on the plains.. But yeah, it probably does sound less aggressive, if 'vegan' comes with unwarranted baggage these days.
And it's suspiciously close to 'vagina'.
People can make any word sound bad. Use what you want.
How about plant killer? That sounds good to me.
I don't really care what people call themselves for the most part as long as they don't unload their unsolicited advice and opinions on me. I guess if I had to pick I would say herbivore sounds better, because when when was the last time a rabbit lectured anyone. On the other hand there are plenty of videos of rabbits trying to rape cats, sooo... um yeah.
I don't give a shit what people choose to eat. I only care about myself and what I like to eat because I am really smart and I never make mistakes. Sometimes it scares me when I realize how damn intelligent I am.
