Iinl that, to date, there is no one i'm remotely interested in?

Honest, there is no one I've ever been physically, emotionally, sexually, or in any other way attracted to. Nothing. Zip. Zero. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a problem and I'm totally fine with it being that way. Heck, even if I do find someone, I don't really want kids. I just really want some peoples' unbiased opinion on it. Is it normal to not be remotely attracted to anyone, regardless of sex, or in any shape or form?

Yup, ive met people who were asexual. In a world filled with gays, lesbian, bisexual, beastiality, transexual, furry fetish, youre normal.

    • Ah, that's what I was thinking. It's still great to hear the same from someone. Even though this isn't a serious problem for me, I thank you for your help!

Being asexual is not normal. I'm tired of people confusing abnormal for unacceptable. Just because something is abnormal doesn't mean it's wrong. People are too defensive these days, not knowing how to correctly interpret words.

Being asexual is not normal because the word normal refers to a norm, something that is widely spread and makes up the majority of something. And the majority of people are not asexual.

        Let me rephrase that,

        "Being abnormal is normal."

Why else do you think i listed all the abnormal sexual orientation? Was that so hard to pick up?
Ill dumb it down for you next time, no worries.

Thanks for stating the obvious, ill be sure to hit you up when i need a simplistic mind.

I's clearly not obvious for many people since they mostly tend to accuse you of being a bigot when you say that something isn't normal. Like you have something against it.

          Scientist in the lab:

"Noticed an abnormal growth in this plant"

          Liberal assistant:

"Why you say it's abnormal? Do you have something against the growth? You're a bigot!"

So much for dumbing it down for simplistic minds.

Oh man it looks like i hit a nerve, now that your talking about hogwash.

I would love to get into an intellectual arguement, but its obvious i won't be getting one here.

vent to your hearts content. But i can't promise that ill actually give a damn. Have a good day.

I do not believe this is 'normal' in the strict definition of the word. Normal as in most common and the majority.
However, that is not to say it is wrong or bad, because it is obviously the way you are and you seem quite comfortable with it.
I think that the only time this would become a problem is if you were to obsess with trying to be something you aren't, especially to please others.

Sometimes people have a hard time believing asexuals actually exist. Thing is, at times people say they are asexual cuz they haven't met someone who really gets them, then all of a sudden they are all over it.

I don't want to believe that's you OP but I'll just have to say it can be possible you're somewhat asexual

It sounds as if you're asexual which is quite normal. Don't worry about it.
