I wouldn't mine so much if they gave you an actual reason.

Here are some guidelines as to why it might not have been approved.

It doesn't make me sad, it's not a serious matter. Just annoyed cause I was being serious. I once made a post about a particular user's behavior, didn't say his username, and it got rejected. Don't understand but oh well.
Once my post got rejected. It was a post about comments being thumbed down. I was disappointed that it didn't get approved then glad because it was a shitty post.
The stories of mine which have been rejected, and there haven't been many compared to the ones which make it through, they were about:
- my visual impressions of certain users. (thank goodness this one was rejected!)
- how I wait until I'm almost out of clean undies before I do a load of clothing-laundry.
- that I've thought about renting a friend instead of going through the hassle of making new ones.
How did it make me feel? For one, I was relieved and even sent a message to the wizard thanking him for rejecting it - I was drunk when I wrote it. The other two, mildly annoyed because it takes time to write them.
I just shrug. I think there's only been on or two occasions where I was really disappointed.
Looking at all the crap they DO approve, I'd feel outraged. But it's never happened to me so far, although judging by the comments prior to approval, I guess some of them were kind of close.
I wish this site had a section just for trolling so we could submit some really good troll posts to it.
Eh, it's usually a really lame story so I don't mind. Although I recently did submit a story twice because the first time around it got denied. That was the only story I felt I should resubmit for a second go.
This site's retarded bastard moderator is sex addictor, so they just approve fucking sex stories and rejected stories about people's feelings and etc.
Pissed off that I wrote 3 long ass paragraphs for nothing. Meanwhile 6 poop stories and 3 guys insecure about their masculinity get published
I reflect on all the stupid shit that people have posted and have been approved... then look at my perfectly legitimate question.. and well... frustrated deosn't really sum it up quite enough.
It annoys me senseless. So much that I don't waste any time to write stories or polls.
It's happened twice. First one, I wasn't surprised cos I was being stupid. I resubmitted it a few months later and it got through and had great fun being stupid with it :D
Second, it was serious, and so I resubmitted it and it got through.
I wasn't overly worried about either. If others hadn't gone through, I probably would have been a bit confused, maybe annoyed at most. But meh.
I don't know why but I never imagine you writing stories somehow. Perhaps because I've never seen a story and thought, "Oh, that'll be the charlington".

You have commented on 11 out of 14 from the shit I've posted. All kind and thoughtful. And one offer to sic Frosties on people on my behalf, which was sweet but unnecessary :P That post was totally misinterpreted. Oh well. Oh and one comment for some reason you expected me to delete, which confuses me, as it agreed with the main point of the post and made perfect sense. Meh.
OP...that's what annoys me more than a story not going through - when I post something and it gets totally misunderstood. Cos I'm too lazy to bother fixing shit up :D
Which is why, despite there being posts where I feel I could have been more understanding in my responses to the OP, I haven't gone back and apologised.

You know what's weird? There are people here that I like very much but I've *never* responded to any of their stories despite them being here for years. I have no idea why it happens. Then there are others whose stories I infest. I'm always curious which I am with people. With you, I guess I'm an infester. Your own personal cockroach! :P
There seem to be people who always answer my stuff too. One has a curved yellow face and the other is a flying squirrel. I think that's enough for them to know who they are.
Glad to hear I've been nice, though. I'm not always and it bothers me I may have done it to people I like. As for the deleting thing, it was probably during that spell when somebody was writing loads of stories of the type that I like and then deleting my answers as soon as I was writing them. Fun fun fun. I probably saw your story as one of the ones I normally like to answer (which adds up, given how often I answer yours) and suspected it was the work of the serial deleter.
We're all just drawn to stories we can answer or relate to. There's heaps on here I never even read, because for whatever reason, it just doesn't strike a chord with me...then someone else will link it to me and I'll find it actually does interest me. There's so much on here, some stuff's gonna fall through the cracks :/ I've read some where I can totally relate to what the OP is saying, but I just don't have the words and so I say nothing. I hate doing that. Then I go and do textual diarrhea like this over others...(It's 2am, I don't have to make sense...)
