Say you work for Time or some large Magazine and you have an awesome shot of a little Colombian girl about to drown. Do you drop your camera and save her and loose the shot -or- get the shot and watch her go?

Well Photo Journalist Frank Fournier decided to get the shot.

    I'd save the life, without question.

    I remember reading about this photo, though. The girl couldn't be saved; she was crushed under debris and rescue workers couldn't do anything. The controversy was the fact that the photographer took a photo of someone who was in the process of dying.

    That's not the choice Fournier was faced with but don't let the truth ruin your story. Just make it up as you go along!

        I wasn't aware of the story behind that pic either, I have seen it posted on the internet a million times, and obviously people glom on to the dramatic effect.
