Is it normal would you read a book with differant pov's?

I am thinking about self publishing a book, taking it to a few craft shows or flea markets and seeing what happens. It isn't Shakespeare, just a funny mystery that I did for fun and forgot about.I joined a writer's group , I am the oldest person attending. I kind of feel at home there ,even if I am not the best.I made a few people laugh and two people want to buy it. One lady really wants me to take her writing class at a college, but she makes everyone write like James Patterson,or Lee Child, who I don't really care for.

Good luck, mystery and humor are the hardest genres to write. You will write trash for years, so get that out of the way as soon as you can.

Single best piece of prose advice: read your writing out loud. It's a good comma and bs detector.

Read out loud stories that have a tone you wish to adopt into yours. Fastest way to change.

It's pretty much the norm these days for romances to have at least two POV characters, often switching at chapter breaks. I don't read a lot of mysteries, but I'm sure multiple POV characters are used there too.

Be aware of the hazards of "head-hopping".

Also, think carefully about the craft show idea (do people go to craft shows to buy humorous mysteries?). For that matter, think carefully about having the book printed at all. Check out Amazon Kindle and other online publishing.

Several books are written like that.
