Is it normal when tired but eyes are open to twitch? (details)

lately when i have lack of sleep my body will do a twitch like you do when you go to sleep and suddenly jump for no reason.

well, i'm doing it while i'm awake.

to be clear, i don't do drugs, i don't smoke, i'm not on any medications. the reason why i am asking this question is because this has been happening recently, and a while ago i twitched for no reason again. and i'm awake playing dragon age inquisition. when this started it was last week on friday, i stayed up all night playing games, went with my mother to help her sister buy some stuff, while in the store, walking around while they were deciding what to buy. (was like pulling teeth) anyways, my shoulders twitched, my body thinks its asleep when i'm awake.

IIN?

Yes, lack of sleep and involuntary body twitching go hand-in-hand. You need some REM sleep to detox your brain. Your best REM cycle takes place right before you wake from a good 7 to 8 hour sleep.

REM sleep = weird kaleidoscope dreams = brain detox. It is your brain doing a rinse and spin cycle, flushing out debris.

Is it a tiny twitch? Maybe they're benign muscle fasciculations. Look it up and see if it matches.

I have lots of benign twitches myself, though I don't think it's too common.
