I used to be shy and would never say hi to a guy if I found him attractive. Somehow someway i just changed and don't give a damn any more: if I like him I start talking to him; and if I like him as a person I and give my number :) What do you think about that? Is it OK to a lady to give her number if he didn't ask or it's way too aggressive?

I think that's awesome. It turns me on when the girl comes onto a guy. The logic that the guy always has to approach the girl makes no sense. Basically it's telling girls that if they like something, they can't do anything about it unless that guy approaches her. It's stupid. If you like someone go for it! It doesn't matter if you're male or female!
I gave my wonderful husband my number wen we first met. I usually do the handing out of my number if a guy thinks I'm beautiful by telling me so and I happen to also be interested. It just works better that way
It sounds like you have universal approval. I have to agree with everyone else and say that I actually was approached by a woman this way a couple of weeks back. We talked a little, she gave me her contact details, and said that I should email her so we could start to get to know each other.
Her directness, confidence, and lack of game-playing was very refreshing and I think we may have some kind of a future. While some men may be put off by this role reversal, you can see from the comments above that most of us are more than pleased to be approached like this.
