We by law force kids to go to school. Any parent who does not give the child some type of schooling is considered a bad parent. What is sad about this is that schools are not required by law to protect them. We have a law that says workers must be in a safe work environment. Why is it not required for children if the schools are going to house them for so many hours of the day? A kid could get beaten, and murdered and its totally legal since there is no law saying schools must have a safe work environment. Honestly what the fuck is wrong here? If they end up dead and screwed up in the head they are not productive members of society when they grow up. Are people really this stupid?

      No, damnit, kids should not have to learn dumbass adding and subtracting bullshit and basic spelling skills...it's fucking abuse. How else will they contribute to the slew of IIN retardation...and what's up with schools? Children could get stabbed by bus drivers, or slam their fingers in lockers, goddamnit!       That and all the reports of violence in schools have confirmed this. You probably have not otherwise you would realize how violent and unsafe a lot of these places are.

    Children are killed by home invaders at least as frequently as at school. Or killed by random bullets. Children are killed by their parents or relatives, too. So where's the 'safe home environment' law?
