Is it normal we always argue at mealtime, after drinking

He wants dinner to be made and ready most nights by 7:30, but sometimes changes his mind and wants to get drunk before dinner, delaying it by an hour or more, but then he gets hungry and starts shouting at me because I "can't get it organised on time' even though I've had to get a bus to and from the town centre, carry the shopping, come home, walk the dawg and prep. the beautiful gourmet dinner for two including a starter, which we eat before I go back to the kitchen to oversee the 'gourmet dinner'....
I am on half his wage but frequently buy 'gourmet' foods for a once a week treat and wine to cook with..
ut all I get is verbal abuse if its not ready early, which is not possible given the time frame that I get home and walk the dawg while HE goes to the pub...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell his lazy ass to make dinner if he's going to be so ungrateful and demanding.

If it makes him so mad, tell that lazy asshole to go buy the gourmet food himself and cook that shit while you sit back with a glass of wine. Even little things like who cooks and takes out the dog and shops should be equalized among you two. He should want to let you take it easy one day while he does the work. Not to be extreme, but this reflects selfishness that never really sits well in relationships.

Drop his lazy, controlling ass. What does he ever do to deserve being spoiled, much less have the right to complain?

I don't know if the 'dawg' spoiled it or made it.
