You cannot go wrong with the cookbook; Joy of Cooking. Its probably been, around for a century or more and not only has recipes, it tells you everything you need to know about cooking, the tools you use and the hints and short cuts most cooks use.

Breadcrumbs, Mt. Scio Farm savoury, finely chopped caramelized apple and onion, melted butter for moistness, salt and pepper to taste.

I second the Sailor on "The Joy of Cooking". I own a copy and it is amazing. There are so many recipes. The recipes really aren't complicated. The book helps you as if you knew a professional chef. You'll be walked through dish origins, techniques, and terms. It's the best. :D

There are a lot of good websites online with many different recipes for foods. I usually use allrecipes.com.

    Happy holidays and good luck!

PS: Above poster is correct, Stovetop Stuffing is the bomb.

Just use Stovetop stuffing (its a brand you can buy it near the bread crumbs) its easy and its better NOT to roast the stuffing inside the turkey for safety reasons. Real stuffing can be tricky so if youre not used to cooking Id say this is the easiest idea.
    Have a nice holiday!
